Jed The Fishing Guide

I began fishing at a young age on Lake Ainslie with my father, uncle and grandfather. My experience and gear will allow you to quickly benefit from my heritage on Nova Scotia's largest natural lake. Further afield await fishing adventures in local streams, beaches, other lakes and on the ice of the Bras D'Or. My 50+ years of fishing experience has taken me across North America as well as Australia and New Zealand. I have learned the benefits of guidance while fishing unfamiliar waters or for new species. Even trying new gear is made easier while fishing with someone who knows how to use it. With me by your side you can climb the fishing curve more quickly than you might imagine. I love fishing. Fishing is even more enjoyable when shared with friends. I also enjoy helping friends to fish, whether for a new species, in new waters, with new tackle or first time fishers. My goal is to put you in place to catch a fish and help you catch it. Perhaps even more important though is to cultivate a love for the sport.
