Ben Thornton Fishing

1st time for me fishing out east, had a great time. Even through terrible weather and tough fishing conditions, Ben managed too put me on fish, one in particular that was an absolute giant !!

My daughter and I joined Ben for an early November trip on the St. John River, the whole trip was awesome we had awesome weather an awesome host/guide and and even more amazing couple of fish. I would recommend Ben to anyone looking for a unforgettable fishing adventure!

In an area of the country where time on the water holds a lot of value, Ben Thornton is the man! I had the opportunity to fish musky with Ben over two days this past summer. Musky is a difficult species to target on a good day, let alone placing sole focus on a St. John chunker in the high 40's. It was a long grind as the weather and systematic pressures didn't line up for fish to jump in the boat but Ben's knowledge of the water put us in contact with 4 or 5 and converted a couple in the boat. Long days on the water can be tough with someone you don't know however Ben made the experience pleasurable with his positive attitude and personality. I will definitely book again and would recommend a day (or a few) on the water with Ben if you are looking to connect with a beautiful St John River Musky. Let's be real - who wouldn't want to musky fish with a guy who can claim over 90 fish on one lure alone?
