Jurassic Fishing Resort

Set among beautiful tropical landscaping some of the best fishing in Thailand. Our fishery now known fondly as "Jurassic Fishing Park" came into being in 2011 when two of Thailand's fishing guide operations joined forces to develop a fishery to meet the demand for high standards of management and service many anglers were seeking but that was widely lacking elsewhere. The Specimen Lake is home to multiple different species of large freshwater fish originating from Thailand, India, America and South America. The lake offers a balance between bites and big fish but is primarily suited to people with previous angling experience. The overall average weight of captures exceeds 25kg with the most abundant species being Siamese carp. Over the last 9 years, Jurassic has grown and progressed as improvements continue to be made and the fish in the specimen lake continue to grow. So much so that the specimen lake has become all too much for some of our older anglers along with children who struggle to tame such powerful fish. Such large fish have meant that we have been somewhat limited when introducing other species due to both out competition for food and also smaller fish being predated upon. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to start a new chapter and the species lake was born. At present, there are multiple different non-predatory species to surpass 30 different species over the coming year. With each stocking, we observe the behaviour and are determined to maintain a balance between them meaning that you are in for a surprise each time the float slips beneath the surface!
