Stop Drop And Troll Adventures offers salmon and bottom fishing opportunities in the Barkley Sound, Georgia Straight and Howe Sound areas. The waters surrounding Vancouver island are home to one of the worlds greatest migrations of sea life that can be experienced anywhere in the world. We change location 3 times throughout the summer between Port Alberni, Ucluelet and finally Vancouver to try to offer the very best fishing experience possible. We offer inshore, near shore and offshore opportunities when weather allows to do so safely. Our Captain Al Campbell will guide you aboard our Stabicraft 2050.It is a rugged 21 foot aluminum vessel that offers fantastic stability from its unique hull design. We have all required safety and emergency gear and adhere to all Transport Canada Requirements. Our Captain has extensive experience working with seafood as a qualified butcher. He takes great care to bleed and ice your fish promptly so that your dinners at home can take you back to the clean waters of B.C.

Water has always been the biggest part of my life. I am a fisherman, a whitewater paddler and guy who just loves being on the water, even if it means just floating around. As a kid I grew up obsessed with catching anything that would bite my hook from our old family canoe and some things never change.
The first time I visited the west coast, my good friend Gord stopped us on a hill overlooking Nootka Sound and I instantly fell in love. For the next week I would be fishing and exploring the incredible playground of the Sound. That lodge, those people and the experiences I had on that trip are some of my greatest memories. That was 20 years ago and today I want to share similar adventures and show people a world that I was so lucky to see.
