Galapagos Marlin Fishing Charter

The tour starts at 5:00 AM with hotel pickup. We will navigate for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, covering around 30 nautical miles, until we reach a spot called "Bajo 0.30." There, we will fish for striped marlin, mahi-mahi, and yellowfin tuna. Bajo 0.30 is a natural site known for having the highest concentration of marlin in all of Galápagos. After this fishing session, we will continue navigating to a nearby island to fish for groupers and tuna. Then, we will return to the port.

I’ve been fishing since I was 13 years old and come from a family of fishermen. Before tourism arrived, the local population in the Galápagos relied mainly on fishing and agriculture. I know all the traditional fishing spots in the archipelago. Later, we transitioned to a new model of fishing through a joint project with the Galápagos National Park, focusing on sport fishing and experiential fishing. We can also include other activities such as snorkeling and guided walks on some of the most beautiful and pristine beaches of the Galápagos.
